JFL Week 4 Recap: Manning, Brees, Graham are uber-beasts

Is there anyone who can stop Peyton Manning?

Is there anyone who can stop his Broncos?

I'm not sure there is, and I'm not sure why anyone wants to watch the rest of this NFL season.

I think it's pretty obvious. The Broncos are ridiculous. They are a surefire 16-0 team that will cruise through the playoffs and win the Super Bowl.

Mark it down.

So, let's find something else to do.

Hmm, what could we do to pass the time while the Broncos stomp everyone?

Perhaps we could create this game where everyone picks players and they face off against each other each week, scoring points for their accomplishments on the field.

That sounds fun.

Unless, you're facing the guy who has Peyton Manning or Drew Brees.

Really, Brees. After I had just wrote about a 40-point Monday night game that doomed me a few years ago, he goes out and scores 47.7. I mean, he only needed to score seven points to beat me, but he had to rub it in.

I'm sure Parker loved that, especially after Ray Rice scored just 1.7.

He wasn't the only one to benefit from a huge QB performance.

The Organ Thieves beat Houserville with 40 points from Manning. The Ville was at a disadvantage with E.J. Manuel going, but after Steve Johnson and Brandon Myers combined for 0.1 points, and Chis Johnson added just 3.5 more, the Ville had to feel pretty good.

Then, the Broncos faced the Eagles and Manning had a field day.

The Ville had a chance to come back with the ultimate No. 1 pick in Jimmy Graham (another 24 points) but he fell six points shy. And he was the home team, so we don't have to hear him cry this week.

Nonetheless, he has shown that despite his 2-2 record, he has the team that can easily win week in and week out. He may be tied with that bastard, the Noise, but he'll easily pass him by season's end to win the division.

The Noise held on to beat the Fear by just four points, which is all that Brian Hartline scored on Monday night. He was lucky. I needed Brees to break his leg or score just five points and he chimed in on Facebook that he needed the same from Hartline. ... Well, clearly, he had a better chance at waking up happy on Tuesday — and he did.

Fear could have won had he started Tony Gonzalez.

Wait, what?

Fear benched Tony Gonzalez?

He must have Jimmy Graham as his No. 1 tight end.

What, no? He chose to start Heath Miller instead?

It's not like Miller had a strong start to the 2013 season. He caught three passes in Week 3 and zero in Weeks 1 and 2.

How do you bench Tony Gonzalez?

It is a mistake he will never make again. After 29.3 points went to waste on the bench, Fear now sits at 1-3 with an uphill battle.

The Generals face a similar battle after several key stars did not come through, while the Channel 4 News Team managed to put up 111 points with Aaron Rodgers on the bye.

It's not fair. You think you should have the advantage and then Victor Cruz somehow scores 26.8 fantasy points in a big Giants loss.

The Generals had some points on the bench that would have helped, but he can't be blamed for not starting the Redskins defense, Le'Veon Bell and Robert Woods. Craig only knows the Redskins defense out of that trio.

Bell looked healthy and he should be a good sleeper pick from here on out and that will help the Generals. He could use a bit of a scoring boost to help him climb out of the 0-2 hole he's in.
