JFL Super Bowl IX Preview (12.18.14)

Well, JFL Super Bowl IX might be a bit of a snoozer.

It's like tonight's Jags-Titans game.

T-Money is a 55.5-point underdog in this matchup and it sounds about right.

Even with some players with questionable injuries, Fear and Loathing is still in line to score about 120 points. T-Money, who has struggled to get out of the 70s all season — seven times total, and if you push it to the 80s, it’s 10 times this season — is in trouble.

Despite the offensive struggles, T-Money has managed to win game — five in a row to be exact.

So perhaps we were wrong all season.

Luck wasn’t on Fear’s side. It was on T-Money’s all along.

The big question is, can it continue for one more week?

It would certainly take an extraordinary effort, that or an absolute collapse by Fear and Loathing.

DeMarco Murray has a broken hand that he just had surgery on, yet he’s somehow listed as only questionable. How he plans on playing, I have no idea. Julian Edelman is questionable and so is Delanie Walker, who has to heal quickly with a Thursday night game about to start in minutesd.

Even if all three didn’t play, Fear still has a good number of points set to come from Andrew Luck and Le’Veon Bell.

T-Money has some injury problems, too, with Tony Romo, LeGarrette Blount and Michael Crabtree all questionable. Romo is the biggest problem on that list because T-Money needs Romo to match Luck.

And, of course, he it is again. A big matchup in the JFL and what’s happening? You guessed it, Romo and Luck are facing each other in real life.

How does this happen so much? The odds have to be crazy.

Then again, the odds must be better than T-Money’s chance to beat Fear. Sorry, T-Money. Facts. Just ask Parker. He doubted me and he lost by almost the score I predicted.

So, again, I say, good luck. You’re going to need bad Luck.

JFL Postseason Challenge
The last week of the JFL Challenge pits the Slackers, Toasters, Jerk, Boyer, Attack and Noise against each other as they fight for the top two prizes.

That’s all I really have to say about this. I’m not in it, so I really don’t care. Have fun. You’re welcome for creating such a fun Week 16 fantasy party.
