Major League Baseball: Snoozin’ O’s

The 2015 Baltimore Orioles alarm clock. It’s going to be the biggest seller on MLBshop.com for Orioles fans.
And it has everything.
Designed for the general manager in everyone, the clock comes complete with the authentic front office Outfield Snooze button. It’s quite simple. Any time an outfielder is next up on the market, hit snooze and you’ll sleep right through until the next outfielder is on the table.
Warnings do include snoozing too long and waking up to realize that the last outfielder, Colby Rasmus, is all of a sudden scooped up by the Astros, of all teams.
Now, barring a trade, the Orioles are left with Steve Pearce and Alejandro De Aza in the corner outfield positions. De Aza does happen to have a better WAR than many of the possible options that the Orioles had on the market, but it’s clear that not making a move may have been the wrong one.
Baltimore had multiple opportunities to better its lineup, and yet, the Orioles let Nelson Cruz and Nick Markakis walk.
Fact is, the Orioles hit snooze one too many times, and now they’re in a nightmare situation.
