One last playoff push for the Main Line

It's the home stretch and it's not as exciting as we thought it may be a few weeks back.

Since that time, Breakfast built up a 16-game lead in the AL and the Dude pushed it out to 10 games in the NL. It will take quite the meltdown for those two teams to miss out on the ever-important bye week.

The Steaks do play the Dude this week so it's up to him to pull off the big upset win to flip-flop the standings.

If there isn't that big flip, it sets up to be Slammers-Steaks in the NL Divisional Series.

In the AL, it's down to the golf outing from a few months ago where Crox beat the Gamblers by 2 strokes. Right now, Crox has the 6-game lead and they are both facing the two teams above them.

The last time this divisional matchup period hit, Breakfast beat Crox 16-3 and Parker beat Choo 14-6. If that repeats, it would certainly be plenty enough for the Gamblers to sneak into the playoffs.

When it comes to the roto titles, Choo and Dude are in a heated battle separated by 1.5 points. And it could flip this week. The two are close in RBIs (Dude 843-837) and stolen bases (Dude 95-89). So, lots on the line for those two this week.

The pitching title is far more secure for the current clubhouse leader, which to no one's surprise is JV. He's always got the arms to do it, and even when he may feel like he's falling short, he makes a risky move or two to get him back in line for greatness.

REMINDERS

For all teams that have their seasons ended on a Sunday from here on out, they will have their rosters lock at 11:59:59 p.m. on Sunday night. If you have moves left for that last week, you can use them, but that's it.

No team should do any roster dumps. We will have roster cleanups occur in November when the League reopens.
