Wong-Jeffers deal is all we got after 2 days

It wasn't the deal we were hoping for, but it was a deal nonetheless.

And at this point, it may wind up being the only deal of the 2025 JLB Winter Meetings.

The Crox Sox, in an odd move given his name, sent Red Sox catcher Connor Wong to the Cheese Steaks for Ryan Jeffers.

Wong was the more productive catcher in 2024, playing in 121 games with a .280 average. He hit 13 homers, drove in 52 and stole 8 bases.

Jeffers batted .263 with 15 HRs and 43 RBIs.

End of the day, this may have just been a joke deal, but I guess the joke is on me because I took time to write about it.

One day left here before we get set for the JLB Green Draft, where we absolutely know that there will be some player movement and something more to write about.
